Lara Valentina Romero Iglesias is a 19 year old Journalism student at Thompson Rivers University. Author of the website La Viajera, which talks about the female solo traveler experience.

Lara was born and raised in the city of La Paz, Bolivia. She grew up with only one dream in mind: exploring the world and sharing her experience with everyone. As a kid, she wasn’t sure of what she would study or what path her life would take, but she knew that she would experience it outside her home country. She graduated from Saint Andrew’s School, obtaining an International Baccalaureate Diploma and a Medium Technical Diploma in English.

In her free time, she enjoys creating art, writing for herself and listening to true crime podcasts. She prides herself in volunteering and participating in activist movements regarding female rights and environmental matters.
